Welcome To Domestic Cleaning Services

No Time For Cleaning....Let us Do It For You

Butterfly Domestic Services provides home cleaning around Essex and East London. Our approach is honest, friendly, and reliable towards our customers. We offer quality and unique services which are tailored to your individual preferences. Customer satisfaction is an absolute priority for our services. We can provide you with a range of:

  • Regular Domestic/House Cleaning weekly or fortnightly with hours to suit you at 12.50 including vat
  • Short notice clean where we will try to provide a cleaner within a couple of hours
  • One off Cleaning Service or Spring Clean (Minimum 3 Hours at 12.50/Hour +VAT per cleaner if more hours are requested). Example 6 Hours with two cleaners is 3 Hours each.
  • A full thorough Spring Clean (Contact us for quote)
  • Office Cleaning from 16 including vat
  • Ironing Services can be provided during the Domestic clean if required
  • Cleaning of Carpets (wet washed) from 30 +VAT
  • Oven Cleans from 50 +VAT
  • Moving in or End of Tenancy Cleaning
  • After Party Cleaning (Contact us for a Quote)
  • Patio and Decking Cleaning (Contact us for a Quote)
  • All our prices are subject to VAT

We assure you that choosing us you will get the you best value for your money. We charge 10.40/Hour (exluding VAT) (2 Hours Min) for Domestic Cleaning Monday to Saturday, Bank Holidays will be charged at a higher rate. We supply you with the best quality whilst ensuring you pay less. Our cleaners are fully insured, vetted, and strictly selected by their level of experience. The cleaners will agree a cleaning day with you if you have not already specified your preference with us. No contracts to sign or fees to be paid. We work you pay.

Booking a Cleaner

  • After the initial telephone conversation with you, we will make a completely free arrangement to see you face-to-face to assess the type of cleaning you are looking for.
  • Your cleaning person will call you within 24 hours of starting work for confirmation and to introduce them self.

Cleaning Tips

Kettle lime scale

To remove lime scale from your kettle, pour in a mixture of half vinegar and half water, boil it up and leave it overnight.
In the morning all the lime scale just falls away, rinse kettle thoroughly and it will be like new.

Mould around Bath sealant

To remove mould use some toilet thick bleach with nozzle and squirt onto the mould, work bleach in with old toothbrush and leave for several hours and rinse. Repeat if necessary.

10 Stain Removal Rules

  Vinegar makes stain removal a snap. Learn how to treat 10 of your toughest laundry stains with white vinegar and a bit of elbow grease.

  1. Remove Tomato Stains Saturate the stain with vinegar. Allow it to soak in. Then wash.
  2. Remove Sugar-Based Stains Saturate the stain with vinegar. Allow it to soak in. Then wash.
  3. Remove Coffee/ Tea Stains Flush the area with vinegar to remove the stain. Rinse and repeat as needed. Then, wash as usual.
  4. Remove Wine Stains Saturate the stain in vinegar, and allow to it stand for several minutes. Then, rinse with water, and repeat the process, if needed. Wash immediately after.
  5. Remove Mustard Stains Apply vinegar to the stain, and allow it to soak in. Then, spot treat with a bit of laundry detergent, and wash.
  6. Remove Grease Soak the stain in undiluted white vinegar. Then, wash as usual.
  7. Remove Sweat Stains Pour vinegar over the sweat stain. Then rub coarse salt into the stain (table salt will work if it's all you have). Place the garment out in the sun to dry. Then wash.
  8. Remove Grass Stains Apply vinegar to the stain with a sponge, and lightly dab to lift. If the stain persists, make a paste of vinegar and baking soda, and brush it into the stain with an old toothbrush. Then, wash as usual.
  9. Remove Ink Stains Apply vinegar to the stain. Then, rub with a paste made of vinegar and baking soda. Let dry. Then wash.
  10. Remove Deodorant Stains Rub vinegar into the stain until it disappears. Then, launder as usual.
